Philips FY2422/30 HEPA Filter – Price, Compatible Models & When to Replace
The Philips FY2422/30 HEPA Filter is a genuine Philips replacement part for the Philips AC2880, AC2882, AC2885, AC2887, AC2889, AC2892 and AC3821 air purifiers. At Sparemaster it costs ₹2,396 (MRP ₹2,995, 20% off), with a GST invoice and shipping across India.
Which Philips air purifiers does it fit?
Philips AC2880 (any AC2880/xx variant)
Philips AC2882 (any AC2882/xx variant)
Philips AC2885 (any AC2885/xx variant)
Philips AC2887 (any AC2887/xx variant)
Philips AC2889 (any AC2889/xx variant)
Philips AC2892 (any AC2892/xx variant)
Philips AC3821 (any AC3821/xx variant)
Check the model number on the sticker under or behind your purifier before ordering – filters are model-specific and a filter from a different series will not seal properly.
What the FY2422 filter does
It is the HEPA layer – the dense pleated filter that traps fine dust, PM2.5, pollen, pet dander and smoke particles from the air passing through the purifier.
When should you replace it?
Your purifier counts filter hours and shows a filter-replacement alert when the filter is used up; some models stop running until it is changed. In Chandigarh and North India, winter smog and Diwali smoke load filters much faster, so the alert often comes earlier than the usual one-year life. Signs it is due: the alert light is on, airflow is weaker, the purifier stays on high all the time, or a smell comes back.
After fitting the new filter, reset the alert – see our guide When to Replace Your Philips Air Purifier Filter (and How to Reset the Alert).
Replace the pair together
These purifiers use two filters. The matching one is the FY2420 Active Carbon Filter (₹1,596).
To change both at once, take the FY2422 + FY2420 set (₹3,590) – it costs less than buying the two separately.
Genuine vs duplicate filters
Cheap copies often use thinner media, little or no real carbon and a loose frame that lets air bypass the filter – the purifier's AQI reading stays high and the filter-life counter no longer matches reality. We sell only genuine Philips filters. Read more: Genuine Philips Air Purifier Filter vs Duplicate.
